Jerry Spencer Associates

quality in conservation and urban design

You want the best advice and support and also need the reassurance that you are securing best value for your organisation. I am a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Institute of Historic Buildings Conservation. I hold honours degrees in both urban design, and urban geography and a have a post graduate diploma in town planning. I have over 28 years' experience in senior positions and in handling significant development proposals. I am an academician at the Academy of Urbanism and a member of two nationally recognised design review panels. You are guaranteed to have me as your main resource working with you directly on any project. My rates are also very competetive.

My Approach

I do not bring pre-conceived ideas. I work with client groups to seek out the inherent opportunities in each place and from these we establish its potential. My practice philosophy is to maximise the ‘win-win’ potential of any situation. Better design should maximise benefits to the community and the development industry alike. Our logo is an image of a butterfly being drawn by a marker pen. Regeneration - represented by the butterfly - starts with good, simple, shared ideas.

The practice is based in Tarporley, Cheshire, a small town which is renowned for its strong historic character and sensitive contemporary urban design.
